AMKAL ESPORTS BEGINS ITS JOURNEY

On December 28, 2023, an event was held at the Restaurant by Deep Fried Friends to celebrate the creation of the new esports team, AMKAL ESPORTS. German "El Classico" Popkov and PARI announced the roster for CS2, making "Amkal" the first media football club to launch an esports division. The event was attended by prominent figures from the esports world, including m0NESY and OverDrive, with musical performances by Soda Luv, SALUKI, and Boris Redwall.

Founder of Amkal FC, German "El Classico" Popkov: "We have considered expanding beyond media football for a long time, but the actual execution of the idea to create a CS team began in October 2023. A key driver of this process was the establishment of PARI Entertainment, which helped us launch the team in such a short time. We have been following esports for a while, and we know the players and the Counter-Strike community. Our goal is to reach the Major and see AMKAL stickers in CS2. We once managed to get the Amkal FC kit into FIFA. Imagine how cool it would be if you could decorate weapons in CS with our stickers!"
